Sites

Sites are the foundation of OnSite. Every job, photo, and file lives inside a site.

Creating a site

1. Open the Sites tab.
2. Tap + in the top-right corner.
3. Enter a Site Name.
4. Tap the Address field and type the address to search, or tap the arrow icon to fill in your current location.
5. Optionally tap Add Contacts to link contacts from your address book.
6. Tap Save.

The site appears in your list immediately.

Editing a site

1. Open the site by tapping it in the list.
2. Tap Edit in the top-right corner.
3. Update any fields — name, address, or contacts.
4. Tap Done to save changes.

Pinning a site

Pin your most-visited sites so they always appear near the top of the list.

1. Long-press a site in the list.
2. Tap Pin.

Pinned sites are shown with a pin indicator and appear above unpinned sites.

To unpin, long-press the site and tap Unpin.

Archiving a site

Archive a site when the work is complete but you want to keep the records.

1. Swipe right on a site in the list.
2. Tap Archive.

Archived sites are moved out of your main list and are no longer visible in the Schedule tab.

Viewing archived sites

1. Tap the archive icon in the Sites tab toolbar.
2. Use the search bar to find a specific archived site.

Restoring an archived site

1. Open Archived Sites.
2. Swipe right on the site.
3. Tap Restore.

The site returns to your active list.

Deleting a site

Deleting a site permanently removes all its jobs, photos, files, and notes. This cannot be undone.

1. Swipe left on a site in the list.
2. Tap Delete.
3. Confirm the deletion in the alert.

Site contacts

Link contacts from your device’s address book to a site so the right people are always at your fingertips.

1. Open a site and tap Edit.
2. Tap Add Contacts.
3. Search for and select a contact.
4. Tap Done.

Contacts appear in the site detail view. Tap a contact to call, message, or email directly.

Site location and map

The address you enter for a site is used to:

• Display a map pin in the site detail view.
• Power arrival notifications — OnSite detects when you arrive within range.
• Power Auto-Sort — GPS-matching photos and contacts to the right site.

Tap the map in the site detail view to open the location in Maps.

For accurate arrival detection, make sure OnSite has Precise Location permission enabled in your device Settings.
